How Reiki Works
Reiki is a form of energy healing that channels universal life force energy through the hands of a trained practitioner. During a session, the practitioner acts as a conduit, gently guiding energy toward areas of imbalance in the body’s energetic system.
Reiki is typically offered with hands lightly placed on or just above the body, and always with permission. For animals, it’s entirely non-invasive and respectful — allowing them to guide how close the practitioner gets.
Scientifically, Reiki is being explored under the umbrella of “biofield therapies” — which interact with the electromagnetic field surrounding all living beings. Early research suggests Reiki may reduce stress hormones, stimulate parasympathetic activity, and support the body’s innate self-healing mechanisms.

Reiki’s Impact
Modern life can leave both humans and animals overstimulated, disconnected, or energetically drained. Reiki offers a gentle return to center — creating space for rest, release, and realignment.
For people, Reiki can ease anxiety, emotional heaviness, physical tension, or the constant feeling of being “on.” It invites the nervous system to soften and the body to remember how to rest.
For animals, Reiki supports trust, recovery, and emotional healing. It’s especially beneficial for rescues, sensitive animals, or those navigating illness, injury, or behavioral challenges.

Reiki doesn’t push. It meets each being where they are.
That’s why its effects are often described as subtle — but profoundly transformative.
What to Expect
Reiki sessions with Soulcraft Energy™ are calm, intuitive, and completely tailored to the being receiving the energy. Whether you’re booking for yourself or your pet, each session is guided by comfort, consent, and gentle energetic flow — never force.
For humans, sessions are typically offered while you rest fully clothed in a peaceful space, either lying down or seated. You may feel warmth, tingling, emotional release, or simply deep rest. There’s no pressure to “do” anything — just relax and receive.
For animals, sessions are completely non-invasive and always led at their pace. We begin by observing their cues and body language, and the energy is offered from a respectful distance unless they indicate they’d like closer contact. Some animals seek touch, others prefer space — both are honored equally.
Whether in-person or remote, Reiki meets you where you are. Most clients — human and animal alike — leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more at ease in their body and energy field.
